The ship with the device can send the information,like MMSI, name, position and type of itself, to AIS base station. While theadministration monitors and manages the ship according to these information,the ship can receive the information, like navigation aid and warning, that aresent by the administration through other AIS devices. Consequently, the journeywill be safer and more efficient.
