1 Introduction

The fiber optic gyroscope (FOG) is an angular velocity sensor that operates based on the optical Sagnac effect. Utilizing advanced all-digital closed-loop detection technology, this high-performance device can output real-time angular velocity data of moving carriers through its serial communication interface. Either three independent single-axis high-precision FOG units or a compact three-axis integrated FOG configuration can serve as core sensing components in inertial navigation systems. These configurations enable precise measurement of angular velocity information along three orthogonal axes relative to inertial space, making them critical for capturing a vehicle's rotational motion parameters in three-dimensional space.
