1 Introduction

Fiber optic gyroscope is a kind of angular velocity sensor based on optical Sagnac effect, internal high-performance all-digital closed-loop detection technology, real-time carrier angular velocity information can be output through the serial port. Three single-axis high-precision fiber-optic gyroscopes or three-axis integrated fiber-optic gyroscopes can be used as the core sensors of inertial navigation solution, sensitive carrier relative to the inertial space in three orthogonal directions of the angular velocity information.


2 Application

The fiber optic gyroscope is widely applicable across diverse domains, including guided weapon systems, aerospace platforms, ground vehicles, marine vessels, submersibles, and orbital detection systems. It serves as a critical component in both inertial navigation systems (INS) and attitude reference systems (ARS), while also supporting medium-to-high-end industrial applications requiring precision motion sensing.
